Imberto is a great example of a modern sporthorse; this athletic gelding is very light off the floor, but still shows plenty of power and scope on the fence. With his incredible backend technique he is hardly every in dangerous of touching a rail. Imberto’s sire Humberto Ask is sired by the world-famous Cornet Obolensky and has proven to be one of the best stallions of his year. Ridden by Brazil’s Yuri Mansur, Humberto Ask is well on his way towards the highest level.
Imberto’s granddam Lina competed up to 1.40m level and produced multiple talented showjumpers. Great-granddam Erna produced the 1.60m showjumper Achileas V and in addition, Imberto is closely related to Amanda Derbyshire’s Cornwall BH and other Grand Prix showjumpers such as Cannelina, Constant Surprise, Largo W and Chester.
