Due to the new Dutch Covid measures, the organization of The Youngsters Auction has made the decision to run the majority of the auction on Tuesday 23 November 2021 online. At 03.00 PM CET, there will be a live presentation of the auction horses, where the public are allowed to attend and see the horses in real life. In the evening of the 23rd of November, the horses will be auctioned online starting at 08.00 PM CET. “We have considered many alternatives and also listened to the network of customers of The Youngsters Auction,” says Peter van der Waaij. “With the new Dutch Covid measures, we believe that a live presentation with guests and an online auction is the best way to handle the situation.”

Last Friday, the Dutch government announced the new Covid measures; from then on, events must end at 06.00 PM. “We initially considered moving the entire auction to the afternoon, but we were told by many of our customers and especially our foreign relations that it would be difficult to already be present in the afternoon,” Jasper van der Waaij of The Youngsters Auction explains. “We think we have the best combination with the live presentation and online auction for this edition.”

Live presentation with guests and livestream on ClipMyHorse.TV
“Tuesday afternoon from 03.00 PM, the auction horses will be presented live, so all guests can see the auction horses jump in person and via the livestream of ClipMyHorse.TV viewers from all over the world can see the horses perform live as well. The auction horses can also be viewed at the stables and the veterinarians of Dierenkliniek Wolvega will be present to explain the veterinary reports”, tells Peter van der Waaij.

Free tickets for presentation
In addition to free entrance, the restaurant De Gezelligheid will provide drinks and bites for all guests. “The Youngsters would not be The Youngsters if we did not take good care of our guests; also during the presentation there will be bites and drinks for everyone”, says Jasper van der Waaij on behalf of the organization.
Guests are therefore very welcome to come and see the presentation live at Waaij Stud in Eemnes, the Netherlands. Entrance is free, but please book your free tickets in advance via www.theyoungsters-auction.com/tickets. A valid Corona QR-code is required to enter.
