Pleasure Boy has blood, plenty of go towards the fence and the power to back it up. Over the smaller fences he can be keen; once they go up, he focuses and shows what he has to offer. That makes him a horse for a rider who enjoys producing talent, with a prospect for the bigger classes as the reward. His family speaks for itself. Granddam Love Call produced the 1.60m showjumpers Stakkarus and Starling 7. Her dam Loving Star did the same with Kannella and Calvaro's Star, and added the 1.55m horse Casastello PS. Two generations, four horses at 1.60m level. Pleasure Boy has the engine and the family to add his own name to that list.
