After a successful career with Jessica Kürten, Harley VDL turned out to be an excellent sire with offspring such as Arlando (Roelof Bril), Constable II (Laura Kraut), Charly Chaplin S (Darragh Kenny), Davidson (Callan Solem), Camelot (Kevin Beerse) and Doloris (Santiago Lambre).
Hard to Get was bred out of Vitesse – also the dam of Grand Prix showjumper Bijoux. Granddam H-Cassina produced the highly successful mare Perpetua (Willem Greve) as well as the Grand Prix jumpers Optical and Wan to Do. Great-granddam Weisse Dame stood at the basis of the legendary world champion Cumano of Jos Lansink. Hard to Get himself stands out for his quick reflexes, excellent technique and light-footedness.
