Katascha is a true competition horse; from day one she has had to instinct to deliver clear rounds and she has been showing her competitive nature. This light-footed mare is extremely quick of the floor, has got lots of stride and knows exactly how to clear the fence. In addition, Katascha has got the right attitude and jumps a bigger fence with lots of ease. Her sire Kannan is known as one of the best stallions of all time, producing Olympic champion Nino des Buissonnets (Steve Guerdat), Molly Malone V (Bertram Allen), Quabri de l’Isle (Pedro Veniss) and many more.
Katascha’s dam Dutascha B is the full sister to Utascha SFN. Ridden by Eric van der Vleuten and Jeroen Dubbeldam, Utascha SFN was one of the Netherlands’ leading showjumpers for multiple years and later continued her successful career with Khalid Al Emadi. Great-granddam Falve stood at the basis of the highly successful Quidam B Z and in addition this damline produced Olympic champion Tripple X III and many others.
