Due to the recent developments regarding corona in the Netherlands, this year’s edition of sporthorse auction The Youngsters will have to take place online. “We regret this, but respect the restrictions and will continue online even more motivated”, says co-organizer Peter van der Waaij. Online bidding will start on Friday 6 November and the auction will close on Tuesday 10 November from 07:30 PM CET. “Although the auction is online, from Monday 26 October all horses can be viewed and the ridden sporthorses are available for trials at Waaij Stud in Eemnes.” On Monday 9 November a live presentation will be broadcasted on ClipMyHorse.TV.

From Monday 26th October, the ridden sporthorses of The Youngsters are available for trials and the 3-year-old loose jumpers are available for viewings at Waaij Stud in Eemnes, The Netherlands. “We would like to emphasize that although the auction will take place online, the horses can be viewed and tried out live. For those who are unable to travel to the Netherlands, we are available 24/7 to provide additional information and answer your questions.”
For 2021 the organisation aims for an extra special comeback of the auction as an event. “Organizing an exclusive auction event is our passion; we now have a whole year to make the 4th edition in 2021 a spectacle.”

Veterinary reports online
Like every year, The Youngsters’ auction horses meet strict veterinary requirements; Dierenkliniek Wolvega has recently examined all horses and performed a recent clinical and X-ray examination. The veterinary reports are available at www.the-youngsters.com and the X-rays are available upon request via info@the-youngsters.com

Additional conformation videos
In addition to the already published jumping videos of the ridden sporthorses and loose jumpers, additional conformation videos are now available at www.the-youngsters.com. “We want to be transparent to our customers and therefore want to present the horses as comprehensively as possible. Correctness and conformation are of great importance to us, which is why we think that these videos recorded on the hard surface are a good addition.”

Monday 9 November: presentation via ClipMyHorse.TV
Due to the fact that the auction as a live event cannot continue, the team of The Youngsters has decided to broadcast a live presentation via ClipMyHorse.TV on Monday 9 November – one day before the online auction closes. “This provides our customers an extra opportunity to watch the auction horses and to get an even better impression of the quality of the collection.” Further details regarding the presentation will be announced shortly.
